Much has changed since my last entry, more than a year ago. I've dropped my science studies, having completed my DEC (just barely scraping passes in a few classes over the last few semesters) and have finished one semester of university in English Literature, which is more my area. I definitely don't regret the two and half years spent in biology, chemistry, physics and math (well, maybe math), because it's made me just smart/nerdy enough to understand jokes in those fields and it's an excellent addition to my general knowledge besides.

I turn 20 in a few days time, which is frightening. 20 means I have to be *gasp* mature. I have to start doing things.

Anyway, the point of this entry: some people might remember the House fanfic that I started about 5 years ago. I also dropped it, unfinished, about 5 years ago. Yeah, that one's not going anywhere, if you haven't already figured that out (I still get occasional reviews for it on ff.net). Sorry. Since, I've been writing in fits and starts and most of that will not be published, online or otherwise. However, when I do choose to share something, it'll most likely end up on my blog. It features mostly random thoughts and observations, but I recently added two "creative" pieces, both of the fanfictional variety. One was an assignment, based on Jean Rhys' "Wide Sargasso Sea" . The other, penned during work last summer, is a snippet of a Harry Potter fic. (Note: this last one may or may not be continued, but if it does, know that it will tend towards the Snarry end of the spectrum, my pairing de choix.)

EDIT: It occurs to me that this entry would be of more use if I actually included the link to said blog: [link]
END OF EDIT.

One last thing to note: If you haven't already, do go check out Team Starkid's newest production, "Starship", available on Youtube. This is the same troupe that brought forth "A Very Potter Musical" and "A Very Potter Sequel" (if you haven't seen those...what the hell?)

sent an angel to watch over you last night but it came back.
I asked “why?”
The angel said “angels don't watch over angels.”
Twenty angels are IN your world. Ten of them are sleeping, nine are playing, one is reading this message.
Send this to ten friends including me. I guess if I don't get it back I'm not one of them. As soon as you get five replies, someone you love will quietly surprise you.
Please read, not joking. God has seen you struggling with something. God says its over. A blessing is coming your way.
If you believe in God send this message on. Please don't ignore it. You are being tested. God is going to fix two things BIG tonight in your favor. DROP Everything and pass it on. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. Don't break this chain.
Send to 14 friends in 10 minutes. It's not that hard

Why hello fellow Montrealer. I love your Elvish Print of your tattoo. Just wondering if you did that yourself or found someone to translate it for you? I'm interested in getting the elvish script as my next tattoo.

Thanks!
Technically speaking, it's in English, only written in a different alphabet. "Translating" text into the Tengwar alphabet is pretty straightforward; here's a good resource: [link]
Thanks for stopping by :)
